Who I am

chibie is a small, one-person microgreens project near Boston, MA. Questions about this policy or your information: sealu@culubo.org.

What I collect

• When you order: your name, email, phone number (if you give it), when you're free for pickup, and what you ordered.
• Payment: card payments are handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe or Square). Your card number goes directly to them; I never see or store it. I receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and the last four digits of your card.
• Survey: your answers, plus your neighborhood or school and email if you choose to give them.
• Variety picks: which "Maybe later" greens you'd try, if you send them. No name or email is attached.
• Stock updates: if you sign up on the site or in the survey, your email. I use it only to tell you what's growing and when it's ready. Every email has a way to unsubscribe, or just email me.
• Visiting the site: I don't use analytics or tracking. The site's host (GitHub Pages) may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser, for security.

How I use it

• To prepare and confirm your order, arrange pickup, and contact you about it.
• To answer your questions.
• To decide what to grow, using survey answers and variety picks.
• To keep the records I need for taxes and accounting.

I don't send marketing emails unless you ask to hear from me, and I never sell or rent your information.

Who I share it with

Only the services needed to run this: the form service that receives survey and signup responses (Formspree), my payment processor, my web host, and my email provider. Each only gets what it needs to do its job. I'll also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

I don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The checkout may set essential cookies from my payment processor to process payments and prevent fraud.

How long I keep it

I keep order records for as long as I need them for tax and accounting, which is usually a few years, and then delete them. You can ask me to delete your information sooner, unless I'm required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I have about you by emailing sealu@culubo.org. I'll respond within 30 days.

Security

I keep your information with trusted services and limit who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but I don't store payment card details at all.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
