Making vitamin intake easier with fresh, locally grown microgreens.

Toast with egg and microgreens

What are microgreens?

Microgreens are young vegetable and herb plants, cut 1–3½ weeks after planting. You eat the stem and first leaves.

4–40×

more vitamins and carotenoids, by weight, than the same plants fully grown, across 25 microgreen varieties tested.

USDA & University of Maryland study, 2012

7%

of US adults aged 18–30 eat the recommended amount of vegetables each day.

CDC survey data, 2019

Why microgreens?

Big nutrition, small handful

They're nutrient-dense, so a small handful adds vitamins A, C and K to whatever you're already eating.

Real flavor

Mild, herby or garlicky. They taste like the grown plant, just brighter and more tender.

No cooking needed

Rinse and add to ramen, eggs, sandwiches, rice bowls or tacos. Works in a dorm.

Fresh and local

Grown indoors near Boston and cut shortly before pickup, not trucked across the country.

Hi, I'm the grower

I'm a senior studying computer science at Boston University. I care about eating well in a way that's about more than macros: food that's fresh, colorful and actually tastes good.
